Jonesboro Alumni Chapter was chartered by 13 Nupes in the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas on June 30th, 2001. Jonesboro (AR) Alumni Chapter is a part of the "Mighty" Southwestern Province. Many of the Kappas from Jonesboro Alumni Chapter have gone on and are presently achieving on high levels within the fraternity and communities in which they serve.

Wilbert Gaines was inducted into the Arkansas High School Officiating Hall of Fame on August 6, 2004.
Leroy Mansko of Newport, AR was the first initiate into the Jonesboro Alumni Chapter on November 19, 2004, in Little Rock, AR, on the UALR campus. The, then, SWP Senior Vice-Polemarch Ron Julun performed the ceremony.
Michael Joiner, Esq. graduated from the Memphis Law School where he was the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board. In the 70 or 80 plus years of this school’s existence, only two blacks have held this post - with him being the only male. He was an Assoc. Editor for The University of Memphis Law Review, selected as one of the few Pupils for the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court in Memphis, the Vice President of the Student Bar Association in 2007-2008, a recipient of the Cecil C. Humphrey’s Law Fellowship, the Judge John D. Martin Scholarship and the Evans & Petree Law Firm Scholarship. He and his daughter was recognized in the Class Salutations Address presented by the Class Speaker. He has passed the Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Exams.
